DORNA WANTS FOUR SUZUKI.






Suzuki is considering after the pressures of Dorna want four Suzuki at the start a project that in the future may bring four bikes on the grid.
It is no secret that Dorna push in this direction that all manufacturers have four bikes but for Suzuki currently not possible to fulfill this request, for 2015 where efforts will be on the two bikes and Espargarò Vinales, in 2016 where important regulatory changes will come and new tires, everything is postponed to 2017 considering the economic efforts to have four bikes a Factory Team and one satellite, will also depend on what will be decided by the Steering Suzuki.
On the one hand you have the two teams can be challenging from an economic but doing so would have many more references to the development of the bike to keep up with the others and possibly overcome them.

REPORT TEST JEREZ DAY1

 


Archived a positive (and productive) three days of testing at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo today in Jerez de la Frontera Team Suzuki MotoGP is back in action for the first three days of activities on the Andalusian track.

Flanked by several World Superbike Team, the team led by Davide Brivio was able to complete only a few laps with Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales riding with their Suzuki GSX-RR.

The reappearance of the rain around 14:30 in fact forced the early suspension of the tests on the track, hoping to meet favorable climatic conditions in the rest of the Test.

Affiancata da diversi Team del Mondiale Superbike, la squadra diretta da Davide Brivio ha potuto completare soltanto pochi giri con Aleix Espargaro e Maverick Vinales in sella alle rispettive Suzuki GSX-RR.
La ricomparsa della pioggia intorno alle 14:30 ha infatti obbligato la sospensione anticipata delle prove in pista, nella speranza di incontrare condizioni climatiche favorevoli nel prosieguo dei Test.

JEREZ TEST 24/25 NOVEMBRER


Test 24/25 November at the Jerez circuit Team Suzuki MotoGP track with Espargaro and Vinales.

Monday 24 and Tuesday November 25th at the Jerez circuit will be the last test in view of the 2015 MotoGP season
Espargarò Vinales and will have much work to do in the two days of testing to give more indications on possible adjustments to the team and on the parts that will be tested in two days.
We will follow closely the two days and we will keep you informed of everything that happens on the track.

Aleix and Maverick speak of Gsx-RR

Maverick Vinales, in Moto3 World Championship in 2013 and 'Rookie-Of-The-Year' this year in Moto2. In a meteoric career progression, the 19 year old Spaniard finds himself now already with the degrees of official rider in the premier class of the World Championship, and his new adventure with the cars 1000cc began precisely with these three days. 1: 33 216 his best time, clocked in the Day-3, more than 2 "from the second best time of Marquez. Vinales commented on his 'first approach' with the Suzuki GSX-RR:


"Overall, I am very satisfied with this test: I could not do many laps and this was very important for me to get to know the feeling you get on a MotoGP bike. I found a better grip with the hard tire, so that in third day I was able to do the same lap times that I did on the first day, when I shot with the soft tire. when I put the 'soft' I could not anyway to lower the times, and so I preferred to concentrate on finding the best trajectories on the track. I learned a lot about the bike and I had a great drive! Now anxiously await the next test in Jerez, where we will have much more material to try. "

THE REAL WORK BEGINS

 




After his debut in the race in Valencia with Randy De Puniet and three days of collective testing with Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales for all the Team Suzuki, the real challenge, to process all the information received in 6 days, including where the Gsx-RR took to the track track and see parts of the bike to be improved, it's frame, engine, cycling everything is taken into account to improve anything and try to catch up with rivals.
It 's true that the Aleix the third day of testing have been disconnected from Marquez a second only and this bodes well for both the future and that the morale of the team that has to work hard in 2015 to bring a bike that can stand with the first.
Vinales on the other hand has yet to become familiar with the new categoria.il his talent is not discussed in this and future perspective is a good starting point is to just get experience and see him like Aleix.

Dopo l'esordio nella gara di Valencia con Randy De Puniet e i tre giorni di test collettivi con Aleix Espargarò e Maverick Vinales per tutto il Team Suzuki comincia la vera sfida,quella di elaborare tutte le informazioni ricevute in 6 giorni complessivi dove la Gsx-RR è scesa in pista e vedere le zone della moto da migliorare,che sia telaio,motore,ciclistica tutto è preso in considerazione per migliorare qualsiasi cosa e cercare di recuperare terreno nei confronti dei rivali.
E' vero che Aleix nella terza giornata di test è rimasto staccato da Marquez di un secondo solamente e questo fa ben sperare sia per il futuro e sia per il morale del team che deve lavorare sodo per portare nel 2015 una moto che possa stare con i primi.
Vinales invece deve ancora prendere confidenza con la nuova categoria.il suo talento non si discute e questo in ottica futura è un buon punto di partenza deve solo fare esperienza e lo vedremo al pari di Aleix.

SUZUKI MAKES GREAT PROGRESS AT VALENCIA TEST




New Team SUZUKI MotoGP riders Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales made huge steps-forward in the final day of the official MotoGP Test at Valencia in Spain today, with Espargaro setting the fastest-ever lap-time for a Team SUZUKI MotoGP machine. 

The 25-year-old Spaniard, who finished seventh in the 2014 MotoGP Championship, put-in a best-lap of 1:31.973 on his 34th-lap of a total of 41-laps today, shaving-off more-than 300ths-of-a-second from Monday’s ‘Day 1’ time in his first ride aboard the 2015 Suzuki GSX-RR. 

Team-mate Maverick Vinales also got-to-grips with the extra power of the GSX-RR, after stepping off his Moto2 machine that he raced to third position this year, to finish in 18th position with a time of 1:33.216; from 22 categorised riders. 

Aleix Espargaro: 

“I'm really happy with our first test. Unfortunately, due to the rain we missed the second day completely, but we learned a lot about the bike. 

“The first day was just for understanding the bike and finding the right position, but today we could try to go to the limit of the bike, and I found that the frame is really good and it turns and handles really easily. We also made big steps with the electronics-side and we made good improvements on the traction control and engine braking. 

“I'm quite optimistic with the package we have and it was good that I could make lap-times that were not so far from the top guys. Now I'm really looking forward to the next test and further development. “ 



Maverick Vinales: 

“I'm very happy overall with the test and quite satisfied that I could make plenty of laps as it was very-important for me to learn the feel in the MotoGP bike. 

“I found better grip on the bike with the hard tyre and could set the same lap-times I made on the first-day when I rode with a soft tyre. I could not make better lap-times when I tried the soft tyre again and so I concentrated on finding and keeping the best lines on the track. 

“I have learned a lot about the bike and I had so much fun riding it! I look forward to the next test in Jerez, as we have lots more to try there.” 

Davide Brivio – Team Manager: 

“I'm pleased with this test, and now I'm really looking forward to start working with our new riders next year. 
“We received a lot of feedback and comments from both riders which were very interesting to hear, especially Aleix with his MotoGP experience, while Maverick, who was riding a MotoGP bike for the first time, had made a softer approach, trying to avoid any risks. 

“The most positive thing was that both riders liked the bike very much and they were happy throughout the test and enjoyed riding the bikes. 

“Of-course, we still have some areas which have to be improved, such as the engine performance and the electronics, and we will test more in Jerez at the end of the month. Hopefully we will be able to conclude 2014 with another positive test and will be able to start 2015 with a fully sorted bike at the start of the season. 

“I would like to thank to all the Suzuki engineers, team crew, and also Randy De Puniet for their hard work throughout the development period and now we look forward to the new season and the new era for Team Suzuki MotoGP.”

“I'm happy that we completed the first test with our new riders and without any crashes. 

“We have enjoyed the favorable comments from Aleix about our chassis, especially the front end stability. We’ve found much better settings on the rear end also. In terms of the engine control system, for sure this is one of the points that we are working-on, but now we have some good information and ideas for this area. 

“Regarding Maverick, this was his first test run after moving from Moto2 and so we tried to let him run without changing too-much from the base setting. 

“As for the chassis, we succeeded in finding a good direction to head towards after several adjustments to the base settings.

“For the next test we will work on new electrical engine-control settings. 

“Now we have two excellent riders we are very happy to work with them on the next stage of the development programme.”

RAIN ON THE VALENCIA, SUZUKI REMAIN IN BOX



Report Day 2. 

With little action on the track at today's rain-soaked MotoGP test at Valencia, Team SUZUKI MotoGP made the most of the conditions to meet the assembled media and to outline the development programme of the GSX-RR machine. 

Tomorrow (Wednesday) sees the final day of the three-day test with all the teams hoping for the inclement weather to break to allow 2015 Team SUZUKI MotoGP riders Aleix Espargaro, Maverick Vinales and the SUZUKI MotoGP team to continue testing and gather more useful information for its return to the 2015 MotoGP series.

INTERVIEWS BRIVIO ESPARGARO' VINALES


Aleix Espargaro: 

“It was really fantastic. I feel the riding-position is much better compared to the one that I rode this year, and it turns very well so that braking and turning into the corners is really comfortable for me. 

“We are still missing some top-end power but I was previously informed this by the Suzuki engineers and I believe that they are working on-it, but the electronic control is not too bad, obviously. 

“The machine feels quite compact for me as I am quite tall, but I really enjoyed riding it and had a very positive start: I'm so exciting to continue riding it tomorrow. 



Maverick Vinales: 
“It was an amazing experience and I really enjoyed today. It wasn't easy to get used to the power and speed for me in the beginning, so I paid a lot of attention and concentrated at the start of the session and tried to adapt little-by-little. 

“The chassis is quite compact – and that fitted me very well – and I could brake as hard as in Moto2, but I’ve only opened ‘full-gas’ in the middle of the straight-straight so far. I'm also not using the electronic control either, apart from the traction control, so there is still a lot to do. The bike leans and corners easily, even though I've not had to change my riding-style so much; I’m really feel comfortable without modifying anything. 

“I hope the power-delivery will be improved-more for me as we continue our testing, but I also need to learn lots more myself and improve my riding as well.” 



Davide Brivio – Team Manager: 

“I'm quite happy with our first day. The new team atmosphere is especially good, which gives the team a good motivation and I’m glad to see that our new riders look so happy on their bikes. Our garage looks happy and relaxed. 

“Another positive thing was that we'd got lots of feedback from our two riders: Aleix, who has more experience, understands the machine’s character very quickly and gave us the positive-points and negative-points immediately; while Maverick - who also enjoyed riding the MotoGP bike for his first time - prefers to make his steps slowly but steadily to have confidence and find the limits. 

“Overall, it was a very positive start, and we hope the weather stays good tomorrow, and to continue a good improvement and direction.”

MOTOGP VALENCIA COLLETTIVE TEST DAY 1




It ended the first day of collective testing of MotoGP in 2015 with a view.
In Valencia took to the track this morning 27 riders so many new faces and others who have jumped on their bikes to another, among them Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales.
The day of the two new riders of Team Suzuki was positive, Aleix finally climbed on a factory bike doing 35 laps, your information will be very important for the team, coming from a Yamaha serve much the differences between his ex-motorbike and this and suggestions for improvement will certainly be useful.
Something different for Maverick that closes the day with 63 laps to him was the jump in class and now has started his training to get used to the different powers of the bike, tires and brakes.
On this day you have not tried the lap time but first and foremost an outlet for the entire operation of the new bike and parts to begin testing.
From the ranking we find that Aleix today went faster than De Puniet on the weekend of the race, this is very promising for the level rider / bike and already tomorrow, but even more in the next test we will try really the lap time and file detachment from the bike more competitive the lot.










Si è conclusa la prima giornata di test collettivi della MotoGP in ottica 2015.
A Valencia sono scesi in pista da questa mattina 27 piloti tante facce nuove e altri che invece sono saltati dalla loro moto ad un altra, tra di loro Aleix Espargarò e Maverick Vinales.
La giornata dei due nuovi piloti del Team Suzuki è stata positiva,Aleix finalmente è salito su una moto factory facendo 35 giri, le sue informazioni saranno moltoimportanti per il Team, venendo da una Yamaha serviranno molto le differenze trala sua ex moto e questa e i consigli per migliorarla saranno sicuramente utili.
Discorso diverso per Maverick che chiude la giornata con 63 giri all'attivo, per lui c'è stato il salto di categoria e da oggi è cominciato il suo apprendistato per abituarsi alle diverse potenze dalla moto,pneumatici e freni.
In questa giornata non si è cercato il tempo sul giro ma prima di tutto una presadi tutto il funzionamento della nuova moto e parti da cominciare a testare.
Dalla classifica notiamo che Aleix oggi è andato più veloce di De Puniet nel finesettimana di gara, questo fa molto ben sperare per il livello moto/pilota e gia da domani ma ancora di più nei prossimi test si cercherà veramente il tempo sul giro e limare il distacco dalle moto più competitive del lotto.

SUZUKI TAKES NEW MOTOGP RACE-STEPS AT VALENCIA



Intermittent cloudy skies delivered bouts of light rain and made the 2014 Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana at the Ricardo Tormo circuit a delicate balancing-act of risk and skill for the fastest motorcycle racers in the world at what was the 18th and final round of the MotoGP Championship today.

Team Suzuki MotoGP lined-up on the grid in a wild-card appearance; and for the first time since 2011. Randy De Puniet was circulating inside the top-20 on the GSX-RR and determined to aim for the group fighting for points, but had to terminate his race after just 12 laps due to a technical glitch.

The team had been working from the moment it arrived in Valencia and ploughed a way through the settings, ideas and doubts as a result of a comprehensive testing programme in 2014.

In the hands of 33-year-old De Puniet, the Suzuki crew had a willing and determined athlete keen to enjoy perhaps his last foray in MotoGP before changing Suzuki machinery for a World Superbike attempt in 2015. The Frenchman knows the new MotoGP project intimately and even though predictable teething problems surfaced during the weekend, he still managed to lower his lap-times and put the GSX-RR firmly into the competitive environment that Suzuki needed to progress with its racing goal.

Suzuki will now welcome 2014 Open category winner Aleix Espargaro and former Moto3 World Champion Maverick Viñales into the pit box tomorrow for the very first briefings and test-laps looking towards 2015.


Randy De Puniet:

“We knew it would not be an easy weekend but I did not expect to run into these problems. Everyone in the team tried their best but it was not sufficient to finish as I struggled with a gearbox-shifting problem. It is a shame because in these race conditions I might have been able to push for a good position. Now it is time for me to switch to Superbike. I think I did a good job for Suzuki during the year and I’m interested to see and hear the feedback of the new riders now.”

Davide Brivio - Team Manager:

“We faced some technical issues this weekend, some of which we have not encountered during the testing campaign. From this point of view it was a good decision to race here and learn more for our job over the winter. In terms of performance - and with everything considered - things are not so bad. We know we have to improve the engine and electronics and we are already working [on this]. Now we can add the information from this weekend. Despite everything, it was good to race at Valencia and make these discoveries now. We will test this week. We won’t find big solutions in the space of one day so we will have to try and manage. The new riders want to test as soon as possible and get a feeling for the bike so we will do what we can to give them the best conditions and then see how the test will progress.”

Satoru Terada - Team Suzuki MotoGP Director:

“It was quite a tough weekend for the team. We'd been having some technical problems recently and we couldn’t find a sufficient solution, so it was a difficult from the start of the meeting. We feel sorry for Randy as he made such a big effort in the last two years with the development process and we really appreciate him giving his best in this final race of the season. Today was actually our first race after three years and we learned a lot; especially about what we are missing. We'll have two new young riders to try our bikes tomorrow and we are excited to know their impressions. We understand that we have to solve our current problems first, listen to their requirements; and then look towards the first official IRTA test next February in Sepang.”

SUZUKI POISED FOR MOTOGP REBIRTH AFTER QUALIFYING 



Team Suzuki MotoGP will spend Saturday evening at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo going over the final plans, settings and strategies for its re-introduction to the premier class of Grand Prix racing for what will be the 18th and final round of the 2014 season tomorrow at Valencia in Spain. 

Randy De Puniet improved his best-lap around the 14 curves of the flat and curling layout on the works GSX-RR by two-10ths-of-a-second compared to his fastest effort through Friday’s Free Practice sessions. Despite running into a few more small teething-troubles with the brand-new MotoGP project, the 33-year-old Frenchman was able to secure a spot on the seventh row of the grid for the 30-lap (120km) Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana on Sunday afternoon. 

The GSX-RR cut through cool and cloudy air on Saturday for the second day of action at the Ricardo Tormo and as the vast stadium seating section started to fill with fans and expectation. De Puniet, who claimed victory at Valencia over 10 years ago in the 250cc class and clearly knows his way around the course thanks to 15 previous Grands Prix at the venue, hit lap-times in the mid-to-low 1 minute 32 second bracket. He was 20th in FP3 and then slotted into the QP1 group. 

He posted a 32.8 on his first quick attempt and lowered the chrono to 32.5. The Saturday afternoon outing was not without interruption for the fledgling Suzuki crew but Team Manager Davide Brivio and his technicians were able to gather more information and valuable data in a ‘race setting’ in preparation for their work in the coming days (2015 test) and winter period. The first ‘moment of truth’ arrives tomorrow with Suzuki’s first Grand Prix since the end of the 2011 campaign. 



Randy De Puniet: 

“Not so easy today. We had a few more technical issues and we had to jump between the bikes and I couldn’t really ride like I wanted to. I’m a bit disappointed about the position because I believed I could have done much better. It’s the first race for the bike, however, and tomorrow we will try our best. I think I can ride low ‘32s tomorrow. I know I can do this and I can be consistent but we haven’t been able to show this yet. I’m ready to fight with everybody tomorrow and I would love this if we can make it happen. If we keep going in the right direction then we will have no regrets.” 

Davide Brivio - Team Manager: 

“A bit faster today and overall I think things are not too bad for our first race. We are encountering some issues but this is a part of being in a race environment with a project that is still young! This is why we are here; to take note of the problems we might find and the gap we have to the others. We are in the process and path we need to take. It is all about shaping our winter homework. I don’t think the performance is so bad and I can see some potential with the bike once a couple of technical issues have been solved. I think Randy is doing a good job and putting in a lot of effort despite a challenging situation. We are looking forward to the race tomorrow and I’m sure Randy will find a bit extra when he is part of the group. Up until now we are doing what we need to do and I think it is going OK.”

VALENCIA REPORT DAY 2










Giornata Difficile per squadra il Suzuki caratterizzato da Problemi Tecnici e Di conseguenza il rallentamento del lavoro stabilito dal Team per questo fine settimana
Anche nelle qualifiche si è Cercato di continuare Il Lavoro ma De Puniet non è andato meglio della 20" posizione in griglia.
Domani Mattina Nelle libere prima della gara SI cercherà di sistemare Ancora la moto per dargli qualche decimo al giro in più.

MOTOGP VALENCIA DAY1




Valencia Day 1: it was an important day to day, eventually you fall within that counts and that Valencia is a great opportunity to discuss with the other team and see on which areas to go to work for the future.
In the morning, the first practice session in sixteenth position with a time of 1.33.345 trailing by 2,049 to say Marquez session taken with care because it was the debut.
In the second practice session of the afternoon to an engine problem has not been possible to conclude by turning all the time available and Randy had to stop in eighteenth place in 1.32.799 trailing by 1,345 from Marquez.
The gap between the two sessions, fell by 7/10 and could have gone even further without the technical problem.
However, the whole day was used to take a lot of data already tomorrow and see how to work on the bike to try to shave a few more tenths.


Valencia Day 1: è stata una giornata importante quella di oggi ,finalmente si rientra nel giro che conta e questa di Valencia è una grande opportunità per confrontarsi con gli altri Team e vedere su che settori andare a lavorare per il futuro.
Nella mattinata prima sessione di libere in sedicesima posizione con il tempo di 1.33.345 staccato di 2.049 da Marquez diciamo sessione presa con le dovute precauzioni visto che era il debutto.
Nella seconda sessione di libere del pomeriggio per un problema al motore non si è potuta concludere girando per tutto il tempo disponibile e Randy si è dovuto fermare in diciottesima posizione in 1.32.799 staccato di 1.345 da Marquez.
Il distacco tra le due sessioni è calato di 7 decimi e si sarebbe potuto andare ancora più avanti senza il problema tecnico.
Comunque la giornata di oggi è servita per prendere molti dati e vedere gia da domani come lavorare sulla moto per cercare di limare ancora qualche decimo.

SUZUKI RE-LAUNCH INTO MOTOGP THIS WEEKEND!





The prologue to Suzuki’s latest chapter of Grand Prix racing will open this weekend when the revitalised works team roll into action with the refined version of the GSX-RR at the Ricardo Tormo circuit for the Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana. 

Randy De Puniet’s presence as a ‘wild-card’, overseen by the experience and expertise of Davide Brivio, and with the honed GSX-RR, will mark the first time the factory is back on the grid of the premier class since the same Grand Prix in 2011. The outing represents a competitive statement-of-intent ahead of the first testing run for the 2015 season that will take place on Monday and a matter of hours after the last chequered flag of the 2014 championship. 

Suzuki has been riding, analysing and testing comprehensively in 2014 with sessions at Grand Prix venues of Sepang, Termas de Rio Hondo, Circuit of the Americas, Phillip Island and Catalunya and have now chosen to re-join the fray and bring a manufacturer with 40 years of Grand Prix history and six (Rider) titles in the premier class back to the sharp-edge of the sport. 

“This is a big moment for us because we have been testing for so long,” commented Brivio. “We have been waiting for this. It is only a wild-card appearance and it is the last race of the year but I’m happy to be going to Valencia and I think it is a reward for Randy for the big job he has done on this project. 

“It is the end of our preparation and I’m excited,” continued the Italian, who has helmed Suzuki’s MotoGP regeneration for over a year. “This is where the new adventure really starts. I’m aware we have a big job to do, and during the weekend we will take a lot of notes for the work we need to do through the winter. This is our first comparison with our competitors and you can only ever really see where you are through a race situation so it’s an important meeting.” 

Suzuki celebrated its championships (and seven constructor’s titles) in a 24-year spell of the sport from 1976 to 2000 and with renowned winners such as Barry Sheene, Marco Lucchinelli, Franco Uncini, Kevin Schwantz and Kenny Roberts Jnr in the saddle of its formidable two-stroke technology. Suzuki is now chasing the prospect of a second victory in the MotoGP (four-stroke) era after Chris Vermeulen gave the marque the initial spoils in the 2007 French Grand Prix at Le Mans under the limitations of the now-defunct 800cc engine regulation. Suzuki’s last MotoGP podium appearance was at the 2008 Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix courtesy of Loris Capirossi. 

“Suzuki has a long racing history and it is exciting to be part of the comeback,” enthused Brivio. “I am aware that the competition are very strong and they have kept racing while Suzuki stepped away for almost three seasons, so we need to catch-up and recover the gap and also learn as much as possible to get to their level. The target is to be in a position to challenge our competitors as soon as we can. Let’s start the challenge!” 

Valencia is the last stop of 18 on the 2014 MotoGP trail but it is one in which Suzuki has enjoyed reasonably decent showings in previous visits. John Hopkins captured a podium finish with third place in 2007, Capirossi was ninth in 2008 and Alvaro Bautista also broke into the top-10 back in 2010.

Largely flat and encapsulated within a ‘bowl’ that fits 60,000 spectators in the surrounding ‘tribunas’, the Circuit Ricardo Tormo venue (named after the Valencian-born racer that clinched the 1978 and 1981 50cc FIM World Championships) is a winding and tight 4km course with nine left turns, five right and perhaps best characterised by the long descending left-hand curve after the Champi Herreros right handed ‘flick’. The track and the city of Valencia has been the site of the MotoGP ‘curtain closer’ since 2002. 

Thirty laps, 120km and 74-and-a-half miles remain of the 2014 MotoGP campaign and De Puniet – who has worked long and diligently with testing mileage of the GSX-RR – will be making the most of his swansong in the series where he notched 252 Grand Prix appearances (and two MotoGP podium results) before taking a berth with the Crescent Suzuki team in World Superbike for 2015. 

“I’m excited. I’ve missed racing and it feels like a long time,” the 33-year-old Frenchman says. “We were out at Suzuka (the 8-Hour) but it was a different bike and pipe. I’m proud to be part of this comeback on the factory bike and I know it will be difficult to judge what result we can get but I want to enjoy the race and give the best that I can. 

“I like the track even though it is not easy on a MotoGP bike,” he adds, talking specifically about Circuit Ricardo Tormo. “It is a place where you need good grip and traction and that is something we worked a lot on in the last two tests. We are right at the end of the championship; but we are just ‘beginning’. I’m sure Valencia will be positive for us.” 

Suzuki’s work will extend beyond practice, qualification and the race across Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively (covered with a pleasant long-term weather forecast but with the chance of some showers on Sunday) as the primary 2015 test will take place on Monday where tyre warmers will come-off for new recruits Maverick Viñales and Aleix Espargaro. 

“The GSX-RR will be the same for the test as used in the race,” says Brivio. “Randy will hand over the bike and it will be the same spec for Maverick and Aleix. We will then start our winter work and our job for 2015 based on the comments and the feedback from those first laps with those riders.”
