Davide Brivio: "Espargaro and Vinales pilots perfect for us"
The Suzuki MotoGP team manager Davide Brivio praised the quality of its pilots and the emphasis on the aspects still to improve the bike.
Brivio took stock after the recent test at the end season: "Both Aleix Espargaro that Maverick Vinales ended the Jerez test and I went on vacation with a smile, very happy, and this is a signal very important. Suzuki clearly have much work to do, even if the bike is fun and it drives well. "

The manager Suzuki then explained what actions to do on Suzuki: "The situation is more complicated as reliability and engine power but the test bench along very well, even from the point of view of life, but when they we use the track intervenes some breakage, which is why we used them with an output a bit 'lower'.

Il team manager della Suzuki MotoGP, Davide Brivio, ha elogiato le qualità dei suoi piloti e posto l’accento sugli aspetti ancora da migliorare della moto.
Brivio ha fatto il punto dopo i recenti test di fine stagione: “Sia Aleix Espargaro che Maverick Vinales hanno concluso il test di Jerez e sono andati in vacanza con il sorriso, molto contenti, e questo è un segnale molto importante. Chiaramente in Suzuki abbiamo molto lavoro da fare, anche se la moto è divertente e si guida bene”.
“Dobbiamo lavorare sulle prestazioni, ma abbiamo due piloti perfetti per questo progetto. Adesso sta a noi dar loro un buon pacchetto che li metta in condizione di esprimersi. Mi piacciono perché sono motivati, con tanta voglia di affermarsi, questi sono stati alcuni degli elementi importanti per i quali li abbiamo scelti e voluti con noi. Tutti i piloti sono ambiziosi e vogliono vincere, altrimenti farebbero un altro mestiere. Ora la pressione si sposta sul team, che deve assicurar loro un mezzo adeguato“.
Il manager Suzuki ha poi spiegato quali siano gli interventi da fare sulla Suzuki: “La situazione più complicata riguarda l’affidabilità e la potenza del motore che però al banco di prova vanno molto bene, anche dal punto di vista della durata, ma quando li usiamo in pista interviene qualche rottura, per questo motivo li abbiamo usati con una potenza un po’ più bassa”.
“Dobbiamo migliorare sull’elettronica, perfezionare inoltre il controllo di trazione, ma tutto sommato la moto ha una buona base. Forse è più difficile riuscire a fare un buon telaio, piuttosto che un buon motore. Per noi sarà tutto nuovo, nel 2015 sappiamo che avremo davanti degli avversari molto forti, ma proveremo ugualmente ad avvicinarci e penso che abbiamo i piloti in grado di poterlo fare“.
