«Ho un contratto pronto con la Suzuki per l'anno prossimo, non so però se da pilota ufficiale o da tester. Potrò accettarlo o meno, ecco perché vorrei sapere al più presto quali sono i piani per me, perché voglio tornare a correre». Così Randy De Puniet, che sta testando la Suzuki, pronta a rientrare nel Motomondiale dal 2015. De Puniet ha sostenuto diversi test e ne sosterrà ancora fino al prossimo autunno, sperando che la casa giapponese punti su di lui: «Sarei anche disposto a considerare una stagione in Superbike - spiega - ma il mio obiettivo vero resta tornare in MotoGp».
MOTO PRONTA Quanto ai progressi fatti con la moto in preparazione, De Puniet sostiene che «è pronta ma è ancora difficile valutarne il potenziale adesso. Abbiamo bisogno di provare ancora, magari anche con qualche altro pilota, perché fino a ora i test sono stati condotti in condizioni sempre diverse e quindi è difficile fare paragoni. Per il momento mi sembra comunque che in termini di potenza pura siamo sulla strada giusta e quindi ci stiamo concentrando di più sull'elettronica».
