The Suzuki MotoGP finally has a name, will be called GSX RR. The news comes straight from the Cologne fair, in which the Japanese company has presented, as well as a new range of models, including its MotoGP project.

Davide Brivio, in this hall, officially announced the two names that everyone knew to 2015, those of Aleix Espargarò and Maverick Vinales. The two Spaniards will be the protagonists of the adventure of Suzuki next year, but we must not forget that the GSX RR is already in the race in Valencia with the tester Randy De Puniet.

The name of the new MotoGP Suzuki, marks a line of continuity with the series product. The super sports car in a thousand that list and that runs in SBK, is called GSX R

La Suzuki MotoGP ha finalmente un nome, si chiamerà GSX RR. La notizia arriva direttamente dal Salone di Colonia, nel quale la casa giapponese ha presentato, oltre a una rinnovata gamma di modelli, anche i suoi progetti MotoGP.

Davide Brivio, presente in salone, ha annunciato ufficialmente i due nomi che tutti sapevano per il 2015, quelli di Aleix Espargarò e Maverick Vinales. I due spagnoli saranno i protagonisti dell'avventura della Suzuki dal prossimo anno, ma non bisogna dimenticare che la GSX RR sarà in gara già a Valencia con il tester Randy De Puniet.

Il nome della nuova MotoGP della Suzuki, segna una linea di continuità con il prodotto di serie. La supersportiva mille che è in listino e che corre in SBK, si chiama GSX R

"The last week we decided just to keep working with Suzuki"

Aleix Espargaro is now working solely towards reaching an agreement with Suzuki for the 2015 MotoGP season.

Asked about his 2015 plans at Indianapolis on Thursday, Espargaro replied: "Everybody knows my priority is to join Suzuki next year but it is not fixed yet... I hope it will be done in the next weeks."

Espargaro added: "Before Germany we had a couple of good options [for 2015] and we decided to think about those options during the summer break. The last week we decided just to keep working with Suzuki."

Aleix Espargaro sta ora lavorando esclusivamente verso il raggiungimento di un accordo con Suzuki per la stagione 2015 della MotoGP.

Alla domanda circa i suoi piani 2015 a Indianapolis il Giovedi, Espargaro ha risposto: "Tutti sanno la mia priorità è quella di unirsi a Suzuki il prossimo anno, ma non è ancora risolto ... spero che sarà fatto nelle prossime settimane."

Espargaro ha aggiunto: "Prima la Germania abbiamo avuto un paio di buone opzioni [per il 2015] e abbiamo deciso di pensare a queste opzioni durante la pausa estiva L'ultima settimana abbiamo deciso semplicemente di continuare a lavorare con la Suzuki.».

La notizia non è un fulmine a ciel sereno, ma quasi…L’ex campione del mondo Maverick Vinales (19 anni appena) piloterà il prossimo anno la Suzuki in MotoGP insieme ad Aleix Espargaró (che così lascia il team Forward).

Vinales, campione del mondo Moto3 nel 2013 con KTM, balza in nella top class dopo un solo anno di apprendistato in Moto2 (una vittoria, 3° posto in classifica generale attualmente).

Diverso il discorso per Aleix Espargaro, da anni il più veloce tra i piloti privati. Campione classe CRT nel 2013 con l’Aprilia del team Aspar, saldamente al comando della classifica Open quest’anno con la Yamaha di Forward) Aleix ha dunque finalmente la possibilità di dimostrare tutto il suo valore in sella ad una moto ufficiale.

I due piloti non hanno ancora firmato ma ormai sarebbe solo una formalità. Rimangono fuori Laverty e De Puniet.

The news is not a bolt from the blue, but almost ... Former world champion Maverick Vinales (19 years old soon) will drive next year's Suzuki in MotoGP with Aleix Espargaro (so that leaves the team Forward). 

Vinales, world champion in 2013 with KTM Moto3, jumps in the top class after only one year of apprenticeship in Moto2 (one win, 3rd place in the overall standings at present). 

Unlike the speech by Aleix Espargaro, for years the fastest among private pilots. Champion class in 2013 with Aprilia CRT Aspar team, firmly in command of the Open ranking this year with the Yamaha Forward) Aleix then finally get the chance to prove its worth riding a motorcycle officer. 

The two drivers have not yet signed but it would only be a formality. Remain outside Laverty and De Puniet.
